After watching Finding Nemo one too many times, I decided to try speaking whale just for fun. I stood in my room, took a deep breath, and let out a long, slow, echoey “Hellooooooo.” My dog tilted his head in pure confusion. My sibling burst into laughter. And my mom yelled from the kitchen, asking if I was okay. I thought I was being pretty convincing, but to everyone else, I sounded like a broken foghorn.
I spent the rest of the day practicing, convinced I might someday impress a real whale. I even tried it at the beach, attracting a lot of stares and one concerned lifeguard. Sadly, no whales responded. But honestly, it was worth it just for the laughs and the memory. Speaking whale may not be useful, but it’s guaranteed to make any boring day instantly more fun and maybe just a little louder. Shutdown123
